Brand Challenge

Kirstena and Shannon, co-creators of all the second generation Lunchskins brand, were looking to create the first designer compostable paper sandwich bag on the market to alleviate our kitchen footprint.  Finally – a disposable sandwich bag you can feel good about using! Their genius idea awarded them the winner of the 2017 Green Award.

Our Approach

We were tasked to create a fun kid-friendly branded box for their very first paper product.  We designed a graphic shark and apple pattern paper bag design that would be the perfect family-friendly tote for school lunches and everyday treats. We created a new icon system to be applied to future packaging that celebrated its sustainability. We also enlisted local talent to create a fun photoshoot of products in use at kitchens and outdoor picnics.
