When chefs and dear friends Keesha and Gloriana came to SHELF, they were selling their homemade no-grain granola (no-grain-ola) mixes at outdoor markets under the name “Granola Mamma.” They had an amazing product and big dreams of expanding their company to include a variety of clean foods. But before they could do that, they needed next-level packaging and a new name that matched their humor and spirit.
Throughout the strategy process, we learned that our two chefs were the most inspiring part of the brand. And their willingness to “flip the kitchen table” with unexpected flavors and recipes led us to the name, KITCHUN. From the brand story to the packaging illustrations, we built an entire identity around their rebellious and unconventional approach to food made with good-for-you ingredients.
